I love this coffee maker. I don't know what it is about not having a carage to deal with, but I actually look forward to getting my coffee out of it everyday.

Great tasting coffee all over the counter, floor & kitchen drawers July 12, 2008

This morning, I brewed a "pot" of hot and delicious coffee. I went back for another cup when I noticed coffee dripping all over my white kitchen cabinets, into a utensil drawer, and onto the floor. I'm truly impressed that it dripped the vast quantity of hot coffee quicker and more profusely than yesterday. It even made it into the utensil drawer (and on every utensil) and behind the cabinet door!! I'm also very impressed that the new "coffee drip" feature is consistent, just like a previous model that I sent back to the manufacturer 6 months ago. Unlike the previous coffee maker, however, this one fails to water the granite counter top before brewing. Awww, memories...
The first one that I had lasted a whole year before. Like I said before, it had multiple "extra" features and was quite handy at utilizing 5-6 kitchen towels a day. I called Conair and they sent a "new" (new to me, refurbished by them) in less than 10 days and it only cost me $10. How's that for customer service? All I had to do was send my old coffee maker back to Conair using their self-addressed return label. It cost me about $20 to send it back, including the gas to the post office.
For a brief moment I considered calling Conair again to replace my "furby" for about $30. Maybe I can talk them into getting my original one back.
Who doesn't love to pay $30 every 6-12 months to get a previously loved coffee maker with new parts? That's quite a deal. Its almost better than buying a quality coffee maker that works properly!

Cuisinart is wonderful June 27, 2008
I really like the Cuisinart brand as it is usually high quality. We had this coffee pot for 6 months and it stopped working. I was very frustrated and upset as I no longer had the receipt. I thought we were out of luck but we called them to see if they had any suggestions. They apologized for the inconvinience and said they would get a new one in the mail that day!!! We didn't even ask for a replacement they brought it up. They also sent a pre-paid lable to send the defective one back. The person on the phone was very nice and assured us that Cuisinart stands behind their products. They didn't even ask about the reciept. Now I'm still not thrilled the first one broke, but that happens sometimes. I am happy that this company is willing to back up their product and they make it hassle free. I had my new coffee pot 3 days after the phone call and it works wonderfully.

Great addition to our office! June 20, 2008
We purchased one of these for our office about 6 months ago and had a standard one as well. However, after about 4 months we had more coffee drinkers loving and less mess - no more dripping. My staff love it and the coffee is great. Now we have two and they are used with great fondness. Linda Johnson
