An enclosed system, pressure cooking locks in flavor and nutrients. From Hearty Lentil and Pasta Soup to Five-Spice Pork Roast, Butternut Squash Risotto, and even creamy Orange-Chocolate Marble Cheesecake (who knew?), Pressure Cooking for Everyone reveals the secrets behind dozens of succulent dishes. 5 out of 5 stars My Favorite Library Book   July 31, 2008
I found this book in my local library and it has been my favorite pressure cooking book to date. We've paid special attention to the recipes calling for lamb and have been amazed at how good the results were. The lush photographs are works of art in themselves. I own a number of pressure cooking cookbooks but this is the one I turn to for special meals.

4 out of 5 stars Not everyday recipes, but a good book   February 8, 2008

The book is well written, well presented, with some images, and the recipes are short and very clear. The seleccion of recipes covers from the basics (stocks, broths) to more ellaborate dishes and desserts. There are also tips on pressure cooking, not only recipes. The only downside to the book is that most of the recipes are a bit too "gourmet", and not for everyday cooking (which is what I was looking for). Other than that, I strongly recommend the book.

3 out of 5 stars I wish I could keep it....   December 28, 2007

THIS COOKBOOK IS FOR 5-7 QUART PRESSURE COOKERS!

I have two other books by Rick Rogers and I love them. The recipes in this book seem family friendly from BBQ chicken to "no-cook" orchard applesauce. Unfortunately I have to return it today because I have an 8 qt pot so I would have to adjust all liquids. But I really wish I could keep it :(

4 out of 5 stars Is a great starter   June 7, 2007

My first encounter with pressure cookers. Was an amazing introduction though my only thought on improvement is that if a full diagram of a pressure cooker had been included it would have made it spectacular.
Happened to purchase a Fagor poressure cooker that had a dvd included. Low and behold, this book is from their extended line.
Am really pleased!

5 out of 5 stars Great Recipes!!!   March 5, 2007

I looked at almost every book on the market for pressure cookers and this was one of the books I chose. I liked the variety of the recipes, the pictures which alot do not have and the information was helpful if you are new to pressure cooking. I found it to be very thorough and covered a wide range of dishes...meat, poultry, desserts and even just vegetable and bean dishes if you are not into meat.....Highly Recommended!!!!
