Beautiful Pattern June 5, 2008
This was a gift for my sister in law who loves butterflies and flowery things. She loves it, uses it for certain occasions and has become a Pfaltzgraff fan. Also got the other unique pieces for other occasions.

Tempted? Think again... January 6, 2008

I owned this set. When I first received it I was surprized that the dinnerware was so thick; but it was pretty I decided to keep it anyway. Then the cups started developing cracks. I thought "what next?" So I wrapped it up and returned it. I was very dissapointed in this dinnerware set. If you buy it, keep your boxes for a couple of months.

I received these dishes a month ago and am very pleased with them. They are even more beautiful in person. All arrived in perfect condition. So far no chips and no dark marks. These are my everyday dishes and are used by teenagers as well as adults. I take no special care with them. I also have the vegetable bowl and the platter. My only complaint is that there aren't more pieces available. I would definitely buy Pfaltzgraff again.

These dishes are beautiful. That is all they are good for. They came with slight imperfections in the finish. I didn't think much about it until about three weeks after I got them and had been using them. There were small cracks around the bowls and the mugs. We really noticed because coffee stained the cracks in the mugs and spagetti sauce stained the cracks in the bowls. My husband was afraid lead was in the finish and it might seep out. I sent them back yesterday. I still had the original boxes, but had lost the packing material in one. It cost me 30 bucks to have them repacked to send them back to Amazon. I am out of my beautiful dishes, plus 30 bucks to repack defective dishes to Amazon. At least I didn't have to pay for shipping......yet. We will see if I get billed for that too on my CC. I am very sad and disappointed. The dishes are lovely to look at, just don't plan on using them. They are made in China.
