The oversized pieces show a sandy, speckled background, with sage-green leaves and sunflowers of every shade of yellow, orange, and red. On the dinner plate, the flowers fill the border; on the salad plate, a single, large bloom boldly nods off-center. This set amply meets most everyday needs by including eight of each of the following: 11-3/4-inch dinner plate, 9-inch salad plate, 24-ounce soup/cereal bowl, and 16-ounce mug.

When I first received this dinnerware I was very pleased, but after using it for a few months I have found that it chips extremely easily. My children are grown so that's not the problem, it's just very fragile. I would love to recommend it because it's beautiful, but I'm in the process of replacing the entire set.

Beautiful is all I can say, heavy, durable and did I mention gorgeous?? She has gotten so many compliments on this set. Buy it, you won't be sorry! I never write reviews, felt compelled to do so this time.
