Twill flatware from Wallace is a great choice for everyday dining because it is comfortable and durable with an easygoing style. Crafted from 18/10 stainless steel for luster and corrosion-resistance, the pattern features gently tapered handles with a slight arc, pressed borders, and a stitch motif. The working ends have an oval shape with deep spoon bowls, and the knives are flat-handled. Twill pieces are traditional in size, and a mirror finish completes the design with a touch of sophistication.

Service for eight diners, this 53-piece Twill set includes eight place settings, each with two salad forks, a dinner fork, a dinner knife, a dinner spoon, and a teaspoon. Great buy July 22, 2008
Purchased 2 sets of flatware and have no complaints. They were on sale for some crazy low price so even though we did not need anymore flatware we jumped on it since they look fancier than our day-to-day stuff which is a pewter color (from Target, forget the brand).

Each utensil is fairly light weight, so depending on your likes/dislikes on weight for utensils you may or may not like that aspect.

Overall a great buy.

We have been using this set of flatware for about a month now and so far I am pleased with it. While some flatware feels skimpy, this set feels substantial and should be able to take a beating for years in our house.

The only issue I have is the shape of the teaspoons. The shape of them is thin and deep, if that makes any sense. I suppose the best way to say it is that when you eat from a spoon, your lips normally follow the contours of the spoon, but the way these spoons are shaped it makes that difficult. It makes using them unsatisfying at some level because it becomes hard to remove the contents of the spoon with my mouth and considering that the point of using any piece of flatware is to get food into my mouth, it defeats their very reason for existing in the first place.

Flatware should be designed so that I, as an American, can efficiently shovel food into my mouth. If you care that America maintains its standing as the fattest nation on earth then buy a different set of flatware.

This silverware is heavy and feels good in your hand. I would advise anyone to purchase if you are looking for a basic set.
