mfr: Briel FUTURA MC 505 is a ThermoBlock espresso machine that's equipped with four filters, auto espresso flow, ASD with manual controlled steam and a rotational chrome frother. Make your favorite coffee, espresso, cappuccinos or tea - all in one unit brews coffee, froths milk, and provides boiling hot water. MC505 comes in chromed outer shell with black accents. Allows you to make a single or a double espresso using either ground coffee or ESE coffee pods. Makes one or two regular coffees using soft pods from Senseo, Melitta & others.

• Equipped with a ThermoBlock 1600W heating system which provides on demand temperatures for both the brewing of coffee or frothing of milk for cappuccinos

No removable water tank March 24, 2007
The only reason I bought this item is because of the removable water tank. The description was wrong on the web site. It does NOT have a removable water tank; I returned the item to Amazon.
