Wallace Vector Flatware June 12, 2007
This is really sharp looking. Very sleek and modern. Very shiny. Very heavy and sturdy. It comes out of the dishwasher shiny, no spots. Very easy to rinse off. I love it!! Have received many compliments. The sets I had looked at in stores were nothing like this. Very reasonable price. A great, great buy.

Sleek design but big and heavy June 7, 2007
This flatware has a very sleek simple design. It's very shiny. It is surprisingly big (meaning that the pieces are very long; and also the spoon for example is above average in size) and heavy compared to the flatware I was used to. We had a hard time fitting in some pieces in our cupboard.

Manufacturing Defect May 8, 2007

I ordered this from Amazon and received a set with about half the pieces having noticeable pits or marks. Some of the pieces had a rusty groove running most of the length. The design itself was ok, but the table spoons (or dinner spoons I suppose according to the box) were extremely large and heavy. The spoon might not fit in a small person's mouth. It's almost as large as the included serving spoon. The large forks and knives were very heavy too because the handles are very thick and round. Tone your muscles while eating your soup!

This is the best flatware I have ever purchased. It is HEAVY and large. There is a distinct difference in size between salad and regular folks and the soup spoons are outsized (it is hard to tell from the pictures). I have had $120 sets of Oneida and the Wallace has them beat. We have very hard water and after a month of diswashering, their luster has not dulled. I would recommend these to ANYONE although Amazon's "original" price of $210 is a tad inflated - even Macy's regular price is $110.
