Awesome Bissell Pet Hair Eraser Vacuum Cleaner July 16, 2008

Our Fanthom vacuum cleaner was only a year and a half old when the pet hair from our three cats and one dog sent it to the repair shop. No drive belt could be found so I bought a Bissell Pet Hair Eraser on the recommendation of a good friend. It was simple to put together and I tried it out on a 4 x 6 area rug. I am blown away by the dirt and pet hair it pulled off and out of the carpet!! Actually more like embarassed! We clean once or twice a week but this machine left the carpet looking almost brand new! It's easy to use, has great attachments and doesn't kick the kitty litter around. I love the pet hair bar that actually works! Finally a vacuum that really takes care of pet hair and dirt all at once!

5 star vacuum July 16, 2008
I bought this vacuum after I read the reviews from this website, and I was right, it does exactly what it says, all the pet hair was cleaned from my carpet and wood floor, I have a golden retriever dog and he sheds all the time, and this vacuum did the job. Some people mentioned that it is heavy and noisy, not at all, the noise is normal and even lower than my old Hoover, and the weight is also normal for an electric vacuum is its size, I gave it 5 star because it cleaned my house really good.

The best money you will ever spend July 16, 2008
WOW, WOW and WOW!!! Purchased from Target for $149 and got a free $20 gift card. This vac is the best ever. I have two dark colored 9 x 12 rugs and a 115 lbs. yellow lab. In ONE pass over ONE rug I filled the canister 2 1/2 times!! These rugs now look new. Before they looked like they were ready for the dumpster. I put the vac together in 15 mins. My 11 and 13 year olds were amazed and took over the vacuuming. My son marveled over the design and how everything fits on the unit. The kids vacuumed walls, blinds, drapes and sofas. I got my money back alone from their cleaning frenzy. My only regret is that I didn't have this sooner because my husband and son have allergies. I felt so badly seeing all of that debris in the wastebasket thinking how filthy those rugs were and how that filth might have affected their allergies even more. It is self-propelled and works very well on hardwood. Get the Pet Eraser!!

Great for pet hair! July 12, 2008
I bought this vacuum based on reviews I had read. They are right! It picks up dog hair with ease -- much better than other vacuums. It also seems to pick up a lot more dirt as well. So far, it is one of the best vacuums I have owned.

So Far, We Like it! July 11, 2008
We have only had this vacuum for about a month, but it seems to be very good. It picks up tons of pet hair, and leaves the carpet fluffy and soft. We had a Bissell prior to this, and it died right after the 1 year warranty was up, so we'll keep our fingers crossed on this one!
