4 out of 5 stars Draft anyone?   July 25, 2008
I love this thing. It looks nice on the counter and the beer that it produces never disappoints. After it reaches the set temperature, it makes almost no noise. You will not be disappointed.

4 out of 5 stars Kitchen toy   July 21, 2008
Most fun toy in the Kitchen. It is the second beer tap machine for the home I bought. What a difference! The other one required the skills of a plumber. This one...you just slip the minikeg in, and all your wine drinking friends want to have a beer first!

4 out of 5 stars Heineken Beer Tender   July 17, 2008
To date the Beer Tender is working as advertised. However the "on-off" switch is real flimsy. There is so much play in the cheaply designed switch, it seem as if it will break at any time right from the first time you turn it on. With so much though and planning that went into this product - they certainly could have designed the "on-off" switch a whole lot better.

1 out of 5 stars Can't recommend this   July 17, 2008

How can anybody justify this thing? It's a $300 gizmo (read:"it will break") that helps you serve a SINGLE type of beverage; a type of beverage that is otherwise serve-able using nothing more than your home fridge!

Ok, but you want "beer on drought"? Then buy a tap ($50), buy a CO2 tank ($50), buy a pressure regulator ($40) and buy a used fridge/freezer ($??). You'll probably spend around $200-250, but then you can buy a KEG of **ANY** beer you like!! Plus, the whole keg-er-ator set up will probably last you a heck of a lot longer than this ridiculous Krups paperweight.

5 out of 5 stars B95 Review   July 1, 2008
I have had the BeerTender B95 for 3 weeks and love it. The B95 was a big hit at a pool party I had last weekend. The unit is very easy to use just make sure you pre-chill your 5L keg or purchase the keg chilled due to the time it take the B95 to chill form room temp. about 10hrs. I personal like Heineken but it would be good to see other beer makers offer a 5L keg for the unit. (Samuel Adams hint hint)
