This is a beautiful, unique set of dishes. The 16-piece set includes four complete four-piece place settings, and each item in the place setting has a different version of the same pattern. The 11-inch dinner plate has a yellow checked border with blue and green flowers. The 9-inch salad plate has a blue scalloped border with darker blue flowers and is solid blue on the bottom. The 6-inch soup/cereal bowl has stripes of blue, pale green, white, and yellow; the inside of the bowl is a pale washed yellow. The oversize 16-ounce mug has yellow stripes, blue and green flowers, a blue handle, and an interior of pale green. Put it all together, and it's an attention-grabbing table setting. As with all Pfaltzgraff dishes, single replacement pieces are available for broken items. The stoneware is safe for use in the microwave, oven, freezer, and dishwasher. Best product I could have gotten. March 25, 2008
I purchased the Summer Breeze pattern of Pfaltzgraff dishes for my newly remodeled kitchen. They look beautiful and match my soft yellow walls and hickory cabinets. I love the size of the mug and the bowls are the greatest. The small plate can be used as a dessert plate or for lunch. My order came quickly and was packaged so well there was no doubt that they had arrived safely. Thank you for your continued great service!

Love it February 6, 2008
I've had my set since 2003, and it was my wedding gift, ironically the set has lasted longer than the marriage, haha. Seriously, I love it. I've had no problems, besides my son dropping a plate and breaking it. My only problem now is finding replacement silverware from various pieces being lost over the years. I love the colors, and that I can put several other different colored pieces with it if I wanted to.

This is a great set for everyday use or even for entertaining guests!! I'm happy I bought this. They are dishwasher safe, microwavable, and even oven safe.

Summer Breeze no "breeze" to keep looking nice January 30, 2007
I have had this set of dinnerware for about a year now. The dishes streak very, very easily and need to be cleaned with a stoneware cleaner on a regular basis. Even with the Pfaltzgraff brand of cleaner the dishes really do not look very nice. I no longer use them when we have company because they are just to hard to keep looking nice.

I would highly recommend a different brand and finish if someone is looking for dishes that will be easy to take care of and plan to use them on a regular basis.

Not quite up to expectations January 21, 2007
In general we were pleased with this purchase. One significant exception was that one of the plate arrived broken. Interestingly the piece that was missing from the plate was not in the sealed box suggesting it was packed broken. This would most likely have occured at the manufacturer not at Amazon.
