5 out of 5 stars water jug -- just the right size for the bedside   October 7, 2008
I had a cold in September and really wanted a small pitcher that held about 1 liter of ice water to put on the nightstand by my bed so I did not have to keep getting up for more water. I had a lot of pitchers in my home but they were all either too small or too big. I ended up using a small one and getting up more often than I wanted too.

I purchased 3 different 1 liter pitchers/carafes on Amazon to fill in this lack of a right size pitcher for the bedside.

Of the 3 pitchers I tried, this is the one I like the best. In fact, it is the perfect size for a nightstand. The bottom of the pitcher fits on a coaster. The pitcher is neither too tall nor too wide -- it does not hit the lampshade on the lamp on the night stand and, except for the handle, does not stick out beyond the coaster. It is a clean white with attractive decorative rings about the bottom. The mouth is wide enough that I can get ice cubes through it.

A very attractive right size bedside pitcher. The price is very nice too. Lastly, it qualifies for Amazon prime free 2 day shipping.

I think I was very clever to spot this pitcher on Amazon and buy it.
