This kettle was not at all what I expected. For starters the thing is so darn heavy that even when using two hands, it's like trying to lift a large watermelon. I also had expected for it to have an enamel coating on the intereior, but unfortunately it didn't. Therefore, If you even leave one drop-however minute-of water in it, it will have developed rust the following day. This was a complete rip off and has caused me to have to take time out of my day to take it down to the local post office to have it returned. DO NOT BY THIS ITEM.
