chicago cutlery fusion - just ok quality and overpriced September 3, 2008
i sure am glad i didnt buy this at $179. even at $149, this set is overpriced for the quality. blades are not well machined, with scuffs and scratches. steak knives are thinner than i expected. knife block has defects. i wont be returning them only because i love the style and feel of the handles and i can get a new edge at our famous local knife shop for a reasonable fee. now i know why they were discontinued by the manufacturer so quickly. these do not compare to my 26 yr old chicago cutlery knife block set.
