Slow cookers are one of the most appreciated kitchen appliances. For a ready-made dinner after work, all the home chef needs to do is put the ingredients in the crock the night before and refrigerate, then in the morning before leaving for work, place the crock in the cooker base and turn the knob on. Succulent roasts or stews are done by dinner time. Good crock pot. I wish it had an auto switch that would go between low and high for cooking. Nice and big. Works good.

Great for Some Things April 28, 2008
I've owned this crockpot for about 9 years now and we loved it so much that when we dropped the porcelain pot we went out and bought the exact same thing. This crockpot is wonderful (5 STARS) if you just want to cook a roast or something that needs to (or can) cook for a long time. I recently started to become more versatile with recipes and wanted to try some new things and use it more often to have dinner ready when I come home, but it burned a recipe and now I'm shopping for one that will automatically switch to warm after a certain time setting. Anything I cook will cook for 10 hours and not all recipes can cook that long, even on low.

I have not used a slow cooker for many years. I was so happy with the results of my new Hamilton Beach Slow Cooker. I made Chicken Soup that cooked for 6 hours and turned out perfect. The carrots were fully cooked and the flavor was delicious. Im so happy I made the decision to try a slow cooker again.

Love it, great size, easy to clean, adorable design of vegetables, which is my kitchen theme. Looks great on my pot stand when not in use. Recipes in manual are not the greatest. So I ordered 2 slow cooker recipe books thru amazon.

I absolutely LOVE THIS SLOW COOKER especially this 6 qt. one. It is great for anyone who needs dinner ready but has to work all day, as a lot of us do. Makes great Dinners, NEVER BURNS!! TENDER MEATS!!!MAKES EVERYTHING TASTE BETTER, WHEN SLOWLY COOKED!! I love Hamilton Beach Products, this is my 2nd Slow Cooker from them is 7 years, my first one was a 3 qt. but still loved it, and it still works qreat also, never had any problems.
The removable cooker is dish washer safe and cleans up easily anyway. This one has a latch for easy traveling, to friends or outings. GREAT INVESTMENT ESPECIALLY AT THIS PRICE!!!
