Takes a while to brew a full pot, and the power cord is really short, but it does what it's suppose to.

Horrible November 17, 2007
Stopped working after the first day, no signs of trouble no smoke no funny noises, just stopped working completely. Could be a fluke, we ordered two for a conference and the second one works wonderflully, but I am still out $42 for the second one as in the haste of preparing for the conference I cannnot find the box or shipping receipte for the broken one.

This is a simple to use coffee maker for large amounts. It washes up nicely and continues to look nice because of finish. I recommend it for use where a 12 cup is just not enough.

Expectations met! February 23, 2007
Wonderful from office meetings to 4-H meetings! I'll never have to worry that there is enough coffee at family holiday gatherings or enough hot water for kids' hot chocolate. In the long run, it's worth the price (which, by the way, is much less for my purchase than I found at other places for the same item at this time).

even when you buy expensive coffee and measure it out perfectly, the coffee comes out either okay or bad.

plus, i went to target and saw something similar that costs less.
