Amazon.com Review
Unlike the Snoopy thermos you may remember toting to grade school; this insulated travel flask exudes a sophisticated style you won't feel embarrassed to pull out in the corporate lunchroom. Its smooth, sleek brushed stainless-steel exterior makes the flask look more like a modern sculpture than a drink container, making it almost too upscale to bring to a football game or picnic at the beach. An insulated interior with a vacuum seal keeps hot liquids, such as coffee, soup, or tea, and cooler refreshments, such as lemon water or margaritas, at their desired temperature longer. Additionally, the tight seal prevents liquids from spilling. The twist-off lid is coated with rubbery santoprene--which makes it easy to open with wet hands--and has a built-in plastic cup under the cap that holds about a 1-cup drink. The flask itself measures 10-3/4 inches tall, is 3 inches in diameter, and holds an impressive 17-1/2 ounces of liquid. The base, without lid, is dishwasher safe for easy cleaning. --Cristina Vaamonde

1 out of 5 stars Stylish and Useless   December 27, 2005

I'm not quite sure if this product could even be described as a thermos. It looks like a thermos, to be sure. It has a lid and appears to be insulated. However the lid does not actually form a seal. That's right--jostle, tip, or shake this container and liquid will seep out. I've used it several times hoping the leakage was a fluke caused by poor lid-screwing on my part, and each time it's failed. An additional drawback is that since the lid doesn't seal, the liquid doesn't stay hot or even warm. So even if you plan to leave it on your counter, I would recommend another product altogether, however the sleek styling might tempt you.

3 out of 5 stars More form than function-sadly   September 20, 2005

Bought this at a local shop on sale but had been eying it for awhile due to the cool modern styling. I reminisced about the performance of my Dad's old beat up thermos. Still steaming hot after all day at an outside chilly job. This model is pretty but not up to snuff. If you are taking it to work and go from heated place to heated place you may be fine, but it can't take very much cold before giving up on your beverage. A long ride to the beach in March and it didn't even get me a few hours into the trip- bummer.
