Known throughout the world for its premium quality wine glasses, Austria's Riedel Crystal delves into the production of crystal serveware with its Solo line. This domed plate is machine-made of over 24-percent lead crystal with the same quality and purposefulness as Riedel wine glasses. Each piece is molded by machine at ultra-high temperatures while in liquid form. The plate and dome are then carefully cooled to room temperature to reduce tension in the glass and bolster durability while simulteneously being polished by fire for a shiny, reflective finish.

Measuring 7-3/4 inches in diameter, the clear plate is appropriately sized for serving pats of butter, soft cheeses, or chocolates. The 4-1/2-inch-diameter domed lid has a modern, upright circle handle and keeps food covered until serving time.
