A must have for dutch oven owners!! May 16, 2008

These stands are of great quality. I have purchased one for every dutch oven I have. I have used them as a stand to cook on an upside down lid. I have also used this inside my dutch oven to cook biscuits. I place it in the bottom and place a pan on top to allow for even heat and air circulation in the oven. All of my dutch ovens are deep and there is plenty of room to use this inside with a pan. It is also nice to have a sturdy place to put your lid. . .no more dirt on the lid. . .no more burnt tables. Worth every penny!

A great accessory for your dutch oven October 25, 2007
I use this all the time with my dutch oven. Dutch ovens can get extremely hot. I never felt comfortable using a hot pad, but it might be okay. I use this all the time for serving right at the table.

Solid product, as expected. This unit folds, so it takes up less space in transport than my other lid stands. Keeps my lids out of the dirt, and my skillets (and other non-legged cookware) up out of the coals. I use two of them with my griddle, so now I don't need to take along a stove to make pancakes in camp. Very stable and sturdy lid stand, same great quality as my other Lodge cast iron cookware.

My husband and I go camping at least once a month and then for 6 weeks to the southwest, we have also done Dutch Oven cooking on Llama packing trips, not having a lid holder would mean dirt or other things on you lid that may get into your food, they are a must....we have several!!
