I bought this chocolate for my wedding. It was such a hit! Everyone of every age had a blast standing around introducing themselves over my Rival fountain. The chocolate delicious. I lent the fountain to another wedding and they bought "liquid" chocolate, it was terrible. I will only recommend this brand. Besides you get more than enough in one order to last through a great party!!! Don't buy any other brand, you will be sorry. It's dark chocolate, so smooth!!!

I've ordered this item twice now from Amazon. The chocolate is smooth and rich in chocolate flavor. I particularly like how this item's description states the cocoa butter content, which was crucial for my search for the right fondue chocolate for my fountain. I needed the chocolate to run smoothly without having to dilute it with vegetable oil.

As for how to melt the chocolate, the package is microwaveable, which was very convenient; just be sure to use a very low setting so you won't burn the chocolate. I also melted this chocolate in a pan over the stove top--it worked just as well.

As for price, I searched around and this chocolate is relatively low priced compared to other chocolates designed for a fountain. Plus, the order size is not very large on Amazon (less than $30 with shipping) for 8 lbs of which 4-6 lbs will be used in one event. That's a pretty good deal if you're in search for chocolate for your fountain.

Highly recommended! I liked it enough to actually write a review :)

For reference, I used this chocolate in the Rival CFF5 fountain.

I bought this product to use with a Rival Chocolate Fountain for my daughter's sweet 16 party. It was so easy to use - stick it in the microwave for a few minutes & then pour into the fountain. But who cares about that right? You want to know how it tasted?? DELICIOUS!!! YUMM-MMY!! We had to refill the fountain twice that evening, we would highly recommend SF Signature Fondue Milk Chocolate.

Great item just heat and mush around a little and pour into fountain.
Worked great no adding any kind of shortenting. Great taste and consistency. Even better a very easy clean up we all like that.

This is the best melting chocolate for fountains. I used it for my son's birthday which was held at a restaurant and it worked perfectly. You don't need to add oil, just microwave and pour into the base and it will flow perfectly. Our guests absolutely loved it, especially the kids who were practically covered in it by the end. I read previous reviews about this product and bought it based on that, because the thought of pouring in vegetable oil with melted chocolate sounds a bit disgusting. The only downside, the chocolate is a little pricey but for me it was worth it to have something that is so easy and incredibly delicious.
