Fresh sliced strawberries appear straight from the garden when arranged against the peaceful garden backdrop of this fruit bowl from the Lenox Butterfly Meadow pattern. 6-1/2 inches in diameter, the bowl accommodates 11-ounces and is a suitable size for a variety of edibles beyond fruit, such as ice cream or cereal. The fine bone porcelain craftsmanship requires little maintenance while adding charm to any table.

The artistry of Lenox's own Louise Le Luyer inspires this fruit bowl. The customary butterfly flits amid a floral motif with a fuzzy bumblebee in tow. Soft scalloped rims complete the effect. The bowl is dishwasher-, microwave-, and oven-safe for easy convenience. I love this collection, but thought a fruit bowl would be to serve fruit. It's actually a small portion serving for ONE person - much better for a bowl of cereal...

I use this bowl all the time as a cereal bowl or a soup bowl. I have also used it when I have a small serving of something to put on the table.

We have been using this sized dish for decades. We only have two glass ones left so these new ones were put into service right away. I am happy to see this item decrease in price to $8.95. This is a very useful size.

I DON'T KNOW WHY, BUT WHEN I ORDERED THIS I EXPECTED A LARGE FRUIT BOWL (ARRANGE APPLES, BANANAS ECT.) I DIDN'T EXPECT A LITTLE TINY BOWL. I WAS PLEASED WITH THE SHIPPING - NO BREAKS, CRACKS OR CHIPS. I DO LIKE IT AND USE IT UNDER A PILLER CANDLE. I SHOULD HAVE READ THE SIZE.
