This fine crystal chip-and-dip set from Mikasa will add a touch of sophistication to any gathering. Part of the Italian Countryside giftware collection, the set makes even vegetables and dip seem like a special treat. Versatile, classic and effortlessly stylish, this generously proportioned set is ideal for serving crudit�s, cheese, fruit or chips and salsa. Its clear crystal fabrication means that it can easily transition from formal to casual occasions. The design includes a band of frosted scrollwork, a textured rim, and raised ribs that extend from the rim to the base of the platter and act as dividers between different food items. The separate dip bowl features crystal beading around its rim. The bowl can be used on its own, and it also fits snugly into a recessed area in the platter. The platter and bowl both feature a smooth, untextured top side that makes washing easy. Although this set is designed to match the Italian Countryside white chinaware pattern, it will coordinate with many patterns and design schemes. For this reason, the chip-and-dip set would make a great gift for newlyweds, or anyone who enjoys entertaining.
