These dishes are so attractive and will be great to use along with the red ones that my children bought me. They are very durable and the mugs are a good size. The price was fantastic!

Absolutely Love! June 20, 2008
When I was a kid, my mom had the Corelle plates of the 70's - the white plate with the little green flowers. I remember that she loved them because we were always banging them and dropping them and they didn't break. So, when I recently wanted to upgrade my "mismatched" dishes from years of college wear and tear, I immediately went for Corelle. I chose the Chili Pepper color because it is the primary color of my kitchen, and I was so pleased at the match to my decor. The "brown" color is actually more black, which was perfect for me because we have stainless steel and black appliances. The plates are a bit more heavy than the ones my mom had when I was a kid, and I like the sturdy feel. I also love that they work in the microwave! A big plus! My favorite is the mug - I love the feel of a good solid mug in the morning for my cup of coffee. It is a good size and, again, the fact that if I need to reheat my coffee in the microwave is an added bonus. All in all, I highly recommend this product! I bought two sets and hope to have them for a very long time!

This is a nice set. I am not sure I would pay full price as I got it on a lightening deal. The mug is red on the outside and black on the inside. I did not notice this when I choose the set. The others are opposite. They should be consistant.

These plates are nice quality, thick and feel like great plates even though they arent' too expensive. So far, so good! I'd recommend them to anyone!
