Amazon.com Review
Comprised of six different pieces in varying sizes, this set provides amateurs with the tools to produce scrumptious treats that rival those from bakeries. This heavyweight bakeware is constructed from pure aluminum, the material of choice for professional cake decorators for its even heat conduction and browning. Covering the aluminum core are three layers of nonstick. The first two layers are peppered with bits of titanium, making it stronger and resistant to scratching--even from metal utensils. The final coating of nonstick improves the pans' release properties for easier removal of baked goods and cleanup.

Among the pans in this set are an 8-inch-diameter cake pan with 1-1/2-inch sides for baking round cakes for frosting and layering; an 8-inch square cake pan with 2-inch sides for coffee cakes; a 13-by-9-inch oblong pan with 2-inch sides for sheet cakes or brownies; an 8-1/2-by-4-1/2-by-2-1/2-inch loaf pan for home-baked breads; and a 15-1/4-by-10-1/4-inch baking sheet for cookies with 1/4-inch sides to prevent baked goods from sliding off. Also included is a 14-by-10-inch wire cooling grid to facilitate complete cooling of cakes or cookies and a plastic storage cover, which fits over the oblong baking pan. All pans have sturdy handles at each end and rigid rolled edges that are preventative against warping at high baking temperatures. For convenience, each pan's exact size is imprinted on one of the handles. Pans are all dishwasher-safe and covered by a limited lifetime warranty. --Cristina VaamondeWhat's in the Box

5 out of 5 stars Great Bakeware!   January 10, 2008

I heartily agree with the first reviewer...this is the best non-stick bakeware I have found to date and I have tried many brands including Baker's Secret, Oneida, Calphalon Commercial & the regular Wilton. All of those were terrible. All stained or failed to remain non-stick with only a few uses. This hasn't stained or become non-stick and still looks as new as the day it arrived on my doorstep. However, I do not & will not put this in the dishwasher or use metal utensils on it, even though it says you can.

I really wish Amazon carried more pieces! There is a complete range of this bakeware out there, inlcuding a pizza crisper (which I have used for both frozen & homemade pizza with great results), a large cookie sheet (first item I purchased almost a year ago & going strong), a 4-cavity mini loaf pan (11/07), a 6-cavity mini bundt pan (11/07), spring form pans (2 different sizes), a meat loaf pan, large roasting pan, as well as each of the pieces shown in this set are also available seperately....and more!

There is one puzzling thing about the large cookie sheet though. After a few minutes in the oven there is this loud bang as though the pan has warped out of shape with the heat, but when I check it to verify it looks perfectly normal...no warping. I have no idea what the loud bang is.

I love this stuff so much I am here to purchase the big bundt pan. Highly recommend!

5 out of 5 stars Best Bakeware I've Ever Used!   February 20, 2007

I'm a guy who has been cooking for over 20 years, and I have enough experience to know a great product when I use it. I got this handy- dandy collection plus a separate, larger Tri-tanium loaf pan for Christmas of '06. Absolute #1 feature is ease of cleanup. A quick soak, a few swishes with a sudsy Scotch Brite sponge & it's spotless. #2 feature is the shiny, slick almost bulletproof finish. Way far better than teflon because it's not textured, and is metal utensil friendly. It's heavy and dark, reduces cooking times slightly, has ergonomic type handles, and generally is a pleasure to use. My experience includes use of glass & ceramic bakeware (can be hard to clean burned or hard baked meats & cakes), commercial type aluminum bakeware (downright booger to scrape & clean) and other assorted "junkware". The cookie sheet is a dream - fast consistent results (I use parchment paper on the pan for the cookies - I almost don't need to wash the pan when I'm finished. The plastic cover for the rectangular baking pan is a nice touch, it helps keep cakes fresh longer and holds the heat on a lasagna after it's done. It's a tiny tad pricey but it should last a lot longer than most other metal and all teflon products out there. Buy it, you won't be disappointed!
