aluminum tied to Alzheimers disease August 30, 2008

It should be illegal to sell aluminum cook ware. Science has tied aluminum with Alzheimers disease. The aluminum especially leaches out with Coffee, tea and tomato.

This coffee pot is used every Sunday for coffee hour after church service. It works fine and meets our needs. We place it on a round two inch high cutting board and put a flat plate under the spigot to avoid drips on our carpet.

This is a pretty good urn. We use it at church and it makes good HOT coffee. Only one problem we've had with it is that when it's brewing, unless you shim down the lid tight (we use bits of cardboard to make it tight) it will bubble a little coffee out over the sides of the urn, not a lot but enough to leave a little puddle on the counter that you need to mop up. It's a small price to pay for lots of hot coffee, though.

This product did not turn up. After contacting Amazon it was revealed the product did not exist. Amazon offered a refund but it caused a lot of confusion and disappointment for many people.
