Included are a regular blending blade (which can be immersed 8 inches into soup pots or deep bowls), a wire whisk for beating eggs and batters, and an enclosed chopper for nuts, cheese, and fresh herbs. This immersion blender provides efficient powerful blending at any speed, as well as chopping and whisking. The stainless steel blending attachment features a splashguard with air slots to increase flow during blending. Unlike plastic attachments, it won't stain when you work with tomatoes, curries, and berries. Its 8" length allows you to blend in deep pots or pitchers. This KitchenAid stick blender is versatile, powerful, and easy to use/clean.

I like the chopper attachment it actually works very well.

The unit seems to be well made and I believe it will last a long time.

Sudden Soup Need Fulfilled October 1, 2008
The Hand Blender arrived as promised on the day after we realized that we didn't have what we needed to create a soup. Wow! What a joy to have this blender work perfectly. I kept searching for faults and found none.

Strong, but a bit big August 27, 2008

We've had this model for 3+ years, and use it regularly to make smoothies, soups, and process foods like nuts, chocolate, etc. It's very strong and can chew through anything with only the slightest bogging. It's very tall, however, and we have to remove pots from the stove to blend (like pea soup) or else mixer will hit the hood.

I own one and gave this as gift to my daughter in law. Mine does not have all the accessories, but really wish that I had ordered them.
These blenders are great. Saves a lot of dish washing, works very well with strong motors.
