Perfect! August 26, 2008
This is a perfect product. Soaking chips in a bowl wasn't the best as the chips would float on the water. With this you can get them submerged for a good soaking. Then you just pour the water out, unscrew the lid, there's your nicely soaked chips. Made of thick plastic, I don't think I'll ever have a problem with it breaking.

Great for soaking wood June 15, 2008
The Weber wood soaker makes soaking your wood chips easy. When your ready just pour out the water and you're ready to put the wood chips in foil, a smoker box, or on top of your coals. I just keep it full so I can smoke anytime I ready. The only thing I could think of to improve on it would make a lid that would keep the water in, encase your kids plays with it and dumps out all the water, when you not ready for it.

This thing is BIG! March 25, 2008
I love this chip soaker!! For 6 bucks it is WELL worth it. This wood soaker can handle even the biggest wood chunks. At 4" wide at the top and 7" tall this thing can soak alot of wood. The screw down top makes sure the wood gets a complete soaking. And it even comes with a bag of wood chips.

You could do without this...oh, no you can't!!! January 13, 2008
Seriously, this large and simple "coffee mug" really does aid in soaking your wood for grilling. The cover has holes in it and screws down into the cup so that your wood doesn't float above the water. Then when you want to get rid of the water, you just turn the cup over. The only thing that I would say Weber could do better is to offer a larger cup for wood chuunks. If you like to smoke with your grill, this thing really helps a lot!
