Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
Cooking eggs has never been easier! The Cuisinart Egg Cooker precisely cooks up to 7 eggs in shells -- hard, medium or soft -- or perfectly poaches up to 3 eggs at once. The amount of water you add precisely controls cooking time, while indicator lights, an audible signal, and auto-shutoff prevent overcooking. Cuisinart signature stainless looks great, and the results are always exactly what you ordered! Limited 3 year warranty

Amazon.com Review
Keep your burners free and your eggs from overcooking with this countertop egg cooker. The cooker poaches up to three large eggs and soft-boils or hard-boils up to seven at a time. A built-in timer adjusts automatically to soft or hard settings and buzzes loudly enough to draw you in from the garden when the eggs are done. Soft-boiled eggs come out with a perfectly half-cooked center, while the white is cooked solid. The automatic shut-off feature adds an extra measure of safety to this sleek appliance. --Shannon Borg

5 out of 5 stars Perfect Eggs Every Time   October 8, 2008
This egg cooker is my favorite kitchen helper! Eggs turn out perfect every time and the shells are easily peeled away. I've given several of these as gifts and received tons of thanks.

1 out of 5 stars Don't buy   September 8, 2008
This cooker started leaking water all over my counter a few months after I bought it. I had to resort to putting it on a cookie sheet when I used it. I eventually got tired of that and threw it away. I would not ever buy this egg cooker again!

1 out of 5 stars Designer's Dream : Cook's Nightmare   August 23, 2008
The snazzy egg shape design looks great on the shelf in the store, but don't be fooled. This egg cooker is to look at, not to use. Once the plastic egg holder warps (after using it a couple of times), it no longer seals against the base, and you will end up with a pool of water each time you make eggs. The little measuring cup with the egg pricker on the bottom was invented by Snow White's evil grandmother -- expect to sometimes prick your finger when rinsing. Finally, the warning beep that tells you the eggs are done has to be turned off manually. Find something better, that is, unless you want an nifty egg-shaped, stainless ornament.

5 out of 5 stars Cuisinart Egg Cooker   August 11, 2008
I recently purchased this egg cooker and I must say I think it is great. I have had two other brands in the past and this one is the best so far. I have made both soft and hard cooked and was very happy with both. I used the reviews here to help with my selection and it didn't disappoint. I also wanted to thank the person who mentioned using white vinagar to clean it, I had never heard about this and it works great too.

5 out of 5 stars Great cooker   July 16, 2008
Looked all over for an egg cooker that would remind me when the eggs were done...I hate using a pan and boiling the things. This is quick simple and fast. Since getting this never boiled out the water or undercooked an egg. It tends to drip water out the sides if you put too much water in it, but overall I really do Love it.
