Customer Reviews: Great mugs August 28, 2008 These mugs are just lovely. The color is a rich dark red (slightly darker than pictured) with faint white accents that give the appearance that the mug has been "weathered." The feel of the mug is substantial without being heavy and while I have only hand-washed them so far, I can attest that they microwave well. I originally ordered two (they were well matched in regards to size and color) and am so pleased I am ordering two more.
