I intentionally picked up a Corelle Livingware dinner plate and threw it a hard as I could aganst the floor (I was a bit mad about something, I don't quite recall what it was, though). It bounced off the floor and remained intact and unharmed. This is a very durrable product.

I love the Corelle Livingware but don't get the kit - the silverware and glasses are worse than plastic cups and silverware!

Find some nice glasses and flatware by a different vendor but I literally threw out the silverware because it was all bent up (3 of the items were so out of shape they couldnt be fixed) and the rough edges hurt your hands to use them!
