If you simply can't get enough of Jamie Oliver, aka The Naked Chef, you'll be delighted with the newly introduced line of dinnerware and tableware he has designed in conjunction with Royal Worcester. The names of the pieces are clearly the work of the cheeky lad himself: "All Rounder", "The Don", "Little Tinker" and "Pukka" for starters. In style they are retro-flavored, bistro-basic, and in Jamie's own words "dead cool". An asymmetrical texture-y white on white panel on each piece gives them a wacky '50s sort of flair and the chunky shapes are pared down simple. These pieces are a brilliant expression in porcelain of the virtues of his food, which relies on simplicity, freshness, and the impact of robust and mutually complimentary flavors. The Little Tinker would be handy for cereal, soup, stews, and individual servings of salad.

Great everyday bowl June 2, 2006
This is a lot of value for the money: the design is great (contemporary, elegant and understated), the size is perfect for deserts, soups, salad on the side. I use these bowls every day. Couldn't be happier! Oh yeah, they do get hot, even with just putting hot food in them. But so do some other plates of different manufacturers.

The dishes get extremely hot in the microwave. A lot hotter than the food!. I purchased table settings of these dishes and like their design and appearance but can not touch them when taking out of the microwave after 2 minutes.
