The names of the pieces are clearly the work of the cheeky lad himself: "All Rounder", "The Don", "Little Tinker" and "Pukka" for starters. In style they are retro-flavored, bistro-basic, and in Jamie's own words "dead cool". An asymmetrical texture-y white on white panel on each piece gives them a wacky '50s sort of flair and the chunky shapes are pared down simple. These pieces are a brilliant expression in porcelain of the virtues of his food, which relies on simplicity, freshness, and the impact of robust and mutually complimentary flavors.
