Replaces older style decanter July 24, 2008
I accidentally broke an older style Decanter that is wider with a removable center insert and was concerned that this new style would not work. It does - it fits nicely. Good to know.

We broke our decanter on our Bunn coffeemaker. We've had the coffee maker for maybe 10 years, and we were worried that a new one wouldn't fit. Much to our satisfaction, this decanter fits our coffee maker perfectly and works just as good as the original ever did. Great product!

Better than original because lid is fixed. Original had removable lid and we always seemed to put pouring area off center causing spills.

Decanter Needed or not? January 29, 2007

Bought the Bunn coffee maker. All the online descriptions indicated that it did not come with a decanter, or is that a caraffe, or is it a coffee pot? So just to be sure I ordered this decanter for about $10. As you have most likely already figured out, the Bunn came with a pot so we now are ready to break one. Seems like we always break one anyway. The Bunn is the best coffee maker I've ever used. The decanter is after all just a decanter.

This model is an improvement over the older pot shape. It is easier to clean and use. I wish it was available in local stores. I had to order it online which means extra for shipping.
