Product Description
The scarab was associated early in Egypt with the generative forces of the rising sun and with the concepts of eternal renewal. This Egyptian scarab jewelry box makes a great conversation piece. Measuring 2 1/2 inches tall, 4 inches long, and 3 1/4 inches wide, it's great for holding rings, bracelets and necklaces, and also makes a great mens valet for holding loose change and rings. The box has a felt bottom, so it won't scratch furniture, and has hand-painted gold accents to compliment its olive green finish. It's made of cold cast resin. The scarab beetle jewelry/trinket box that I ordered was very well made and it was attractive. However, if you are looking for the color that shows in the photos, you might be disappointed. It is a much darker green than the photos show. I probably wouldn't have wanted that particular color, but my teenage grand daughter, whom I bought it for, loved it! I guess that's all that mattered!
