With contemporary curves and an overall satin finish, Domus flatware makes a simple yet eye-catching pattern for everyday use. The flat handles feature blunt ends; the spoons feature oversized ovoid bowls; and the forks, curved heads with short tines. German design company WMF has the flatware constructed in Asia of high-quality 18/10 stainless steel in a lightweight heft that hands of all sizes should find comfortable. Dishwasher-safe, the flatware never needs polishing.

This comprehensive set includes five-piece place settings for eight diners, as well as two serving spoons and a serving fork. Each place setting consists of a dinner knife, dinner fork, salad fork, soup spoon, and teaspoon. The three serving utensils are especially modern, with almost triangular bowls and a simple slit in the center of one that creates a "fork" effect. These come in handy for serving everything from a tossed salad to mashed potatoes. This product is exactly what I wanted and I got a great deal with a Gold Box special. The set is not oversized or overly heavy. It washes well in the dishwasher and does not lose its finish or get scratched. I love the stylish design and the serving pieces are a wonderful addition. This is high quality flatware for a very good price.

We love our Domus silverware. It matches the brushed nickel fixtures in our kitchen and is very modern-looking. It isn't too heavy or too light, it's just right and very well balanced weight-wise. This line of flatware has a really smooth feel that is a pleasure to hold and doesn't poke one's hands the way curvy/pointed silverware does. The forks have a nice cupped shape to them and the tines are not painfully sharp. Our only regret is that we didn't order a second set while they were on special.

I got the Flatware as one of Amazons Lighting Deals and I'm glad I got it at a good price. Don't get me wrong, the Flatware is AMAZING, its a heavy stainless stell, very modern looking and from a very good company. But the way it arrived I thought it was some cheap silverware from walmart. It all came wrapped in plastic all thrown into one box. I figured since it is a good company and its kinda pricy it would come in a nice box all sorted. I was wrong :) Anyway, that the only thing I was dissapointed with. But as long as you dont mind the packaging its a very good investment.

Excellent set, fancy and good quality. I give 4 stars because I expected them to be made in Germany, and they have a noticeable "china" written on one side of the knives

The flatware set arrived in a "white plain box" and each piece individually wrapped in a plastic bag. The dinner knifes have a big stamp of "WMF China", while the rest stamped "WMF CROMARGAN 18/10 KOREA". The quality seems to be good but this set is from 2 different factories. I have to keep these for myself because of such mismatch.
