3 out of 5 stars Mediocre pans   January 13, 2007

I haven't yet baked in these pans so I can't rate that aspect. What I have done is struggled to remove the glue holding down the paper inside the pan. They don't use that nice sticky stuff that pulls off and leaves no mess, but real glue that is VERY hard to remove. I soaked a pan with hot soapy water to try to soften it and then scrape and pick it off, without much luck. The moisture from soaking the pan formed rust all around the pan! That was hard to get off seeing as I didn't want to steel wool my new pan and mess up the finish. I ended up getting the glue off with Goo Gone, an adhesive remover, and some more scraping. The lids do fit but are troublesome to put on and leave a small amount of gap along the sides where there could be air leakage. My other pans had hard plastic lids that cracked and broke. These are soft plastic and seem secure once you get them on. The pan is not heavy duty, but then the price, at $5.99, isn't either.
