The heavy vinyl construction defends against snow, hail, rain, sun, and wind hazards while warding off the additional spiders, pests, and assorted debris that often infiltrate barbecues and pose fire dangers. Velcro side straps secure the cover over the grill. The interior felt lining prevents scratches to the grill's exterior and even absorbs any residual moisture on its surface. The 'cost to value" rating for this gas grill cover is 4.0! The quality of the naugahide + the soft inner liner + the velco straps and fit was exceptional. Those cheap silver gas grill covers you buy at Lowes / Home depot are not close when it comes to quality and value. My original DUCANE gas grill cover B4 WEBBER bought them out was over a $100.00 for the exact same quality cover. BEST BUY !!!

I have two of these, one for each of my Ducanes. They're heavy and well made and well-fitting. They have withstood several windy Colorado winters and are still in like-new shape. They do the job and I can't think how you could design one or manufacture one better.

robust and big February 6, 2008
I bought this to cover our new grill bought at Lowe's - it's bbq #196124 for about $170 and this cover fits nicely: the grill is 52 inches long (including the two sidetables) and 22 inches deep and this cover fits just over it (with a little play - just perfect). The velcro straps allow you to fasten it and it's really thick material that seems robust.

The cover keeps the rain out, even in torrential downpours. The fitted bottom keeps the cover on the grill even during high thunderstorm winds.

My only gripe would be the bottom could be more tightly fitted than the velcro closure will allow.

Best cover I have seen. Has lining built into the underside that absorbs any mosture left on the grill before covering. Heavyduty and had velcro straps on side to prevent wind from blowing off
