Drawing its rustic imagery and fresh colors from Jana Kolpen's The Secrets of Pistoulet, the Pfaltzgraff Pistoulet tableware line has a warm, generous spirit and versatile palette. Equal parts function and fun, the La Bienvenue trivet takes its name from the French for "welcome." It is designed for use at the table or hanging on the wall and features a French farmhouse, sheepdog, and sunflower patch surrounded by delicate crosshatching. While the sculpted surface of the trivet is not flat, it is balanced, so hot pots and bakeware rest evenly. Measuring 10-1/4 by 7-1/4 by 1/2 inches, the stoneware piece is safe for the freezer, dishwasher, microwave, and oven. Coordinating tableware and serving pieces are also available. Like the rest of the Pistoulet line, the trivet comes with a five-year warranty. --Emily Bedard

Terrific Trivet! November 2, 2005
This trivet is one of my top favorite pieces by Pistoulet! It is a true work of art with its creative shape and raised 3D design. I was delighted it was designed with the adorable Pistoulet farmouse on the front. The colors are soft and easily blend with most Pistoulet pieces. It's almost too nice to use as a trivet. I ordered a second one just to display in a china cabinet. It would also make a great housewarming gift as it would work in many kitchens.

Nice accessory piece April 25, 2003
This is a very nice addition to compliment the set of Pistoulet dinnerware. The colors are vibrant yet subtle and very well crafted.
