Unfortunately, the red color starts streaking off after one use in the dishwasher. It is really meant to be only hand washed every time. Hardly practical. But the blades are really good and durable.

these knives are very attractive. they look nice, and have a nice weight. Like most knives though, they probably need to be dried as soon as they are washed, because they would probably rust.
