Quicker and easier to use than a skillet, this 900-watt electric appliance simplifies the cooking of crepes and blintzes, making it foolproof. The 7-1/2-inch-diameter cooking surface is coated with nonstick material and is slightly convex. Dipping it into crepe batter coats it uniformly. Inverting the appliance and setting it on a counter (or dining table, for festive occasions) allows the crepe to cook, while the rubber feet protect the counter. The user then simply peels off the crepe. An automatic thermostat heats the cooking surface to the proper temperature, and a light signals when it's time to cook. The crepe maker, which features a stay-cool plastic handle, is accompanied by a plastic dishwasher-safe dipping plate to hold the batter. Nothing better for the money April 17, 2008
There may be better crepe makers out there, but for the money this one can't be beat. It took no time to figure out (well, okay, maybe 2 bad crepes) and it consistently makes excellent crepes. I can make enough for breakfast for 2 in about 5 minutes (I make the batter the night ahead). After breakfast, I use up and remaining batter and freeze the crepes for another day. If you really get into it, you may want something fancier, but I suspect you'd still keep this one around for ease of use.

Oh yes, and it is easy to clean, too! Just wipe it down and put it away...

Great Little Crepe Maker April 6, 2008
Crepe maker delivers what it promises... light weight, easy to clean, excellent choice for beginner or an experienced cook. First couple of crepes were a little ragged looking but I got the hang of dipping in the batter tray for no more than 3 seconds and from then on crepes came out looking Good - rolled around fresh strawberries, dab of cinnamon, and whipped cream on top!! Tres Delish.

This crepe maker works great. It's so easy to use and makes crepes quickly. The recipe for sweet crepes given in the recipe booklet is not sweet enough, so I'm searching for a better recipe. This product delivers excellent results for the price.

Crepes are easy February 13, 2008
This crepe skillet makes crepe-making simple, quick and fun. Very simple to use, it quickly warms up and it's fun to dip into the crepe batter and then watch as the batter poofs up while it's cooking. So simple my husband can make crepes--and I'm the cook in the family!
