Dainty, delicate and decidedly feminine, this sandwich tray from Royal Albert embodies the spirit of Victorian elegance. It features one of the world's most popular china patterns, called Old Country Roses. Created in 1962, the pattern incorporates lush bouquets in shades of fuchsia, gold, pink and green framed with graceful scrollwork and 22-carat gold edging. The intricately detailed roses bloom against a luminous background of white bone china. Bone china is fine vitrified china that contains animal bone ash for added translucency and luster. For those who love flowers or the vintage chic aesthetic, this graceful tray offers a romantic way to serve after-dinner mints, sugar cubes, cookies, or other small treats. For an extra-special presentation, a matching creamer, sugar bowl and coffeepot are available separately. For best results, Royal Albert recommends hand washing. Never recieved the sandwich Tray.After emailing the vender I learned they did not even have ordered sandwich tray. They where not even sure just want the sandwich tray was. I recieved the Cream and Sugar Tray. Turns out there are different size Creamers and Sugar bowls.. And the set I have does not even fit on this tray. So I learned not to buy from other venders... Please note the vender did offer to send me a return lable. Being I collate Old Country Roses. I felt I could put the small tray to some use.
