aqua globes July 21, 2008
The Aqua Globes do a good job releasing water into the planter as needed.

due to the length of the feed tube a deep pot is needed to keep the globe stable

The Jury is Still Out July 20, 2008
These Aqua Globes seem to be working okay but one appears to have stopped up with soil from the pot plant. I have cleared the obstruction and all is well at this time. I've found that it helps to punch a hole in the soil with a stick or dowel to clear a path for the globe's stem. I am reasonably well satisfied, but want to wait for further results.

LOVE THEM July 18, 2008
I LOVE THEM !!!!!!!!!! A lil tricky learning how to fill them . . . you have to hold them at an angle and allow the water to trickle in . . . then you have to make sure the hole you make in the soil is not too tight otherwise soil will clog the aqua globe. If you don't see air bubbles come up into the globe when you place in soil, just readjust and make sure soil isn't clogging tube, also make hole deep enough so that tube just sits in, don't ram it into soil. The last thing about these globes . . .DO NOT PAY SO MUCH . . .if you check out other websites, they're $14.99 for a set of 4 plus s+h.

Works great July 11, 2008
They work great. You need more than one in a large outside pot. I would guess they would last longer in an indoor smaller pot. Kept my plants alive while on vacation for a week.

The Aqua Globes look nice, but they are hard to fill AND they do not water your plant slowly as it needs water like they are advertised to do.

I watered my plant thoroughly then put in the water globe as the directions specified and the globe emptied all it's water into the planter at once. So much for watering your plant gradually while you are away. It has emptied this way every time I refill it (which takes awhile) and put it back in the planter--glub, glub, glub the water is out of the globe all at once regardless of whether the plant needs water or not.

I bought a different one at another store--very ugly, but it works!!
