Six distinct processes contribute to picture improvement. LG's XD Engine takes the low resolution of analog signals to near HD levels by improving brightness, contrast, detail and enhancing color as well as reducing signal noise. This total solution results in cinema-like high-resolution images.Image sticking minimization provides protective measures to minimize damage as a result of stationary images.

This plasma LG 42" tv is a very nice looking set. The color and ease of use makes this very appealing. A nice set overall.

I would not use Amazon for a electronic purchase of high dollar value. They use third party vendors and it is not easy to see which one is reliable or not.
