Surprisingly perfect. November 22, 2008

I did not expect a tea kettle this adorable (and it is adorable) to actually be the best kettle I've had. What's so great about it?
1. Solid construction, I've dropped it ( empty thankfully ) and it has no dents or scratches.
2. Easy to clean, no unreachable nooks.
3. Balanced, empty or full, it doesn't tip over as some previous kettles of mine did.
4. The handle stays nearly cool to the touch, I've gotten in the bad habit of picking it up without a potholder.
5. The lid fits tightly, there is no spill even when full to the brim.
6. The harmonic whistle is pleasant and plenty loud.
7. The inside material may be teflon (I don't know, it's just smooth and not stainless steel) so it stays really clean.
8. It has a wide bottom so it heats quickly.
9. The spout is easy to open, like a little handle, I've never burned myself and I burn myself all the time.
10. The water stays warmer inside if you leave it even though the kettle itself is not that hot to the touch.

All in all, exactly what I wanted.

adorable critter November 2, 2008
This giraffe tea kettle is so cute, I leave it on my stove all the time. It is not often that such a functional item is also attractive. I like the whistle, too, it is not the normal shrill sound.

Definitely a great buy for yourself or as a gift!

OMG, How cute is this September 13, 2008
Purchased 3 on sale @ Amazon.com for Christmas gifts. Think I just might have to keep one for myself. Not only is this Tea Kettle adorable, but it is well made. Yes, it is a smaller kettle, but it works for me. Shipped fast and well packaged.

love my new kitchen duck August 19, 2008
This yellow duck tea kettle brightens up my stove top. Whistle is a little strange and sounds more like a siren then a quack but we now know what it is.
