Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
With a nice long handle and a curved flexible head you'll be able to scrape and scoop batter or other ingredients from bowls and pots. Easy to clean, comfy to use, heat-resistant, and coordinated to match your black KitchenAid standmixer, now this is one heck of a spatula!

Amazon.com Review
This is one spatula you won't find melted up against the side of the stove. Heat resistant to 500 degrees F, it's crafted from a sturdy silicone that won't scratch or scrape nonstick cooking surfaces. The 3-1/2-by-2-1/2-inch blade has a surface that's curved like a spoon for easy scooping and spreading, and the tip is flexible to let you get at the last drop of batter in the bowl. (Whatever you do, don't tell the kids you'll be using it; they might just go on strike.) The KitchenAid logo even doubles as a rest, so you can place the spatula up against the rim of a bowl without it sliding into the goo. --Mary Park

Customer Reviews:

4 out of 5 stars Ingenious design befitting the KitchenAid brand   October 23, 2004
3 out of 3 found this review helpful

This clever gadget gives the chef in the house one handy utensil to both stir AND scrape... a real time-saver. The silicone used to make the spoon/spatula portion of the item is simply the perfect stiffness to make it highly effective for both uses. Batters are a breeze to clean from the bowl with this clever design.

Kudos, KitchenAid! Another well-designed, quality product!

3 out of 5 stars ok, i guess   August 1, 2003

It isn't really a spatula. It is a stiff, shallow spoon. Usable but not great.

5 out of 5 stars Great Spoon Spatula!   May 1, 2003

This is yet another superb silicone spatula by KitchenAid. The large handle makes it easy to get a firm grip on it when you are stirring or scooping. The silicone spoon will not melt or fray and it couldn't be easier to clean. Very Highly recommended!

5 out of 5 stars Love it!   March 8, 2003

I have small hands and love this spatula. Just the other night I used it to mix up my meat loaf. I also use it for cakes and muffin mixes. Not flimsy like some so you can scrape every last little bit out of the bowl.
