Product Description
This European device cores a pineapple and removes the meat with as little waste as possible. Depending on the fruit's size, you snap on one of three corers. After slicing off the pineapple's top, you center the plastic corer on the flesh and begin turning it clockwise. When you reach the bottom, simply pull out the corer and, with it, the pineapple's juicy flesh in a neat, ready-to-eat stack. Use the intact shell to hold a fruit salad or tropical sorbet.

Fresh pineapple has a tropical, delicious taste … but many folks can't figure out how to get past this fruit's thorny exterior to the sweet inside and resort to buying those perfect little rings in a can. This pineapple slicer peels, cores, and slices a fresh specimen in less than 30 seconds so there is no excuse for ever buying canned pineapple again. To use this ingenious little tool, you must first cut the top off of your fresh pineapple. Next, place the slicer in the middle of the pineapple and push down while turning the handle in a clockwise motion. Pull the slicer straight out of the pineapple and--voila!--your perfect little rings come out with the tool while the rough shell stays behind. Finally, simply slide the handle off the slicer and the pineapple rings slide off with it. The pineapple shell remains intact so you can use it as a dessert bowl or as a glass for pina coladas. The slicer comes with three blades to tackle pineapples of any size. great product. September 23, 2008
I love pineapples but am too lazy to deal with peeling them etc. This product is a lifesaver. Now I can eat as many pineapples as I want and really fast too. My only grouse would be that the slices come out too thick, I was used to cutting them thinner when I used to peel them with a knife. But I might be able to live with that. Great great product , a must buy if u are a pineapple lover.

THIS PRODUCT LET ME CUT DIFFERENT SIZE PINEAPPLES WHILE LETTING ME SAVE THE OUTSIDE FOR PINACOLADA.

Pineapple Slicer is OK August 31, 2008
The device does work, but tends to crush the meat if you push to hard through the pineapple. Gentle twisting works better, but takes more time. I have used the metal version and it works better.

This product is perfect to core and cut your pineapple. The pineapple is ready to serve in just a couple minutes. I love this pineapple corer and recommend it to all of my friends!

I really liked this little gadget. It comes with 3 blade sizes for small to larger pinapples and this is a plus. We grow our own pineapples and sometimes they are smaller so the smallest blade works best and then there are those larger ones so you can use the big blade.

It is so easy and quick to prepare a pineapple with this. It really does go right through it with minimal effort and it makes nice even slices. It sure beats using a knife and trying to slice off just the right amount of the outside without wasting it and then getting all those eyes off of it. This wasn't very expensive and rates up there as one of the top kitchen gadgets that really is worth the money.
