we did the test, dropping a bottle on the table numerous times and seeing if it spills. only rarely did a drop or 2 fall out, normally nothing. keeps the wine nice though i can not speak about how well the stopper aerates (as im not a wine expert). but the wine does feel alittle lighter. only reason i didnt give it five stars: sometimes the steel ball gets stuck on a pour and has to be pushed back down. but this only happens rarely and i would recommend it to everyone.
