Product Description
For the health-conscious set, a good quality steamer is one of the best investments you could ever make. This Rice Cooker with Porridge/Soup Function also comes with a steamer for healthily steaming vegetables without any fat involved! It features easy-to-use one-touch controls, a 2-Menu Selection, which allows you to choose to cook a variety of dishes like rice, porridge and soups. In addition, it comes with a keep-warm function, which automatically keeps rice warm and yummy after cooking! The nonstick inner pot and removable steam vent and dew collector are easy to clean. It includes a measuring cup, spatula, spatula holder and instruction manual.

5 out of 5 stars Perfect   October 7, 2008
I bought this specifically for making brown rice as I could never get a good texture on a conventional stove -- it's makes wonderful brown rice.

5 out of 5 stars Rice Cooker, Sanyo   September 30, 2008
This is a nice rice cooker. You can't go wrong with this, it is easy to use, easy to clean. I am creative with my recipes and they always turn out. The brown rice is my favorite--always cooked just perfectly. I can fill it up and leave the house for a couple of hours, then I come home to a pot full of dinner. The cooker switches onto Warm and the rice dish stays evenly warm. Can't give it a higher recommendation. I bought two smaller ones for my daughters.

5 out of 5 stars Waited too long to buy one!   September 19, 2008
The best rice we've ever made. All claims provided by Cooks Illustrated are true. Excellant product that is so easy to use!

5 out of 5 stars Sanyo ECJ-N55W 5 1/2 cup rice cooker   August 6, 2008

Excellent results and value for someone not needing to cook for a large family or group. The pictures online do not do this little cooker justice. It looks much better in person (less clunky) than how it is photographed online.

1 out of 5 stars Not Good   July 12, 2008

Too Expensive. 5- 1/2 cups are not true, you can barely make 3.5 cups. Every time you cook, you need to clean outlet also, that sucks. I don't recommend this product. You can do better with 1/3 rd of money what you spend on this product.
