Product Description
Aerolatte Milk Frothers are the world-famous, award-winning, best-selling original steam-free milk frother. Safe and easy to use, the Aerolatte milk frother eliminates the need for expensive steam-based machines. It works directly in your mug or glass using an innovative whisk-head to turn milk that has been heated in the microwave or stovetop into rich, thick foam in just 20 seconds. Use for lattes, cappuccinos, milkshakes, and hot chocolate. Includes instructions, recipes, and 2 AA batteries. 5 year guarantee.

This cute handheld milk frother is fun and easy to use; British celebrity chef Nigella Lawson recommends it over steam-driven frothers. Plus, in addition to its most popular use--creating delicate foam for homemade cappuccinos, lattes, or hot chocolates-- the Aerolatte milk frother can be used for other, equally yummy treats. An enclosed recipe sheet offers ideas for fruit "shakes" and coffee frappes that can be made with any kind of cow, goat, sheep, soy or rice milk! Some restaurant chefs even froth milk to foam garnish earthy soups.

The frother is easy to use, with a simple black toggle button to turn it on. Hold the stainless steel head just below foam level to keep froth building. The shape of the steel-toned, satin-finished handle is curved in the right places and flattened on the sides for a comfortable grip. When it's time to replace the batteries, a black ridged cover slides off to reveal the battery chamber. (It's important to use alkaline batteries with the Aerolatte milk frother.)

To clean, turn the frother on and dip the whisk in hot soapy water; rinse well, and turn again briefly to spin dry. Wipe the handle with a damp cloth; do not immerse handle in water. The whisk is not removable from the battery handle. The milk frother measures 8-1/2 by 1-1/2 inches. Two AA alkaline batteries are included, as well as a recipe and instruction sheet. Aerolatte guarantees the Original Steam-Free frother for five years. --Garland Withers

4 out of 5 stars It does what it says   October 12, 2008
My flatmates and I really love that we can have lattes without buying a fancy machine! This is a great money savor! It works well, takes a bit of technique though. All in all I would get it again!

5 out of 5 stars nice frother   October 4, 2008
works like a charm.. heat up the milk in the microwave and then use this puppy.. creates nice froth. i would recommend it. i could say the froth is slightly different than the foam generated from steam (i guess its a matter of physics). also use it for making chocolate milk and it's delicious.

5 out of 5 stars latte mixer   September 21, 2008
This is an excellent product for making coffee lattes. Besides being small and compact it does any excellent job and it is fast too.

4 out of 5 stars Works great...but...   September 18, 2008
I loved the Aerolatte for the week that it worked well. Mine suddenly lost all "oomf" after a week even though I replaced the batteries. Bummer...

3 out of 5 stars Great, but Ikea sells them for $1.99   September 12, 2008
The title says it all. Wonderful little frothers these, I agree ... but Ikea (and probably your local $2 store) sells this exact item, without the logo, for $1.99.
