Europe's Riedel Crystal is the world's premier manufacturer of wine glasses. Riedel's Wine series of glasses is among the company's machine-blown lead-free offerings and offers a decorative departure from other simpler styles. These Champagne glasses each have a slender, four-edged stem with three delicate ridges that encircle the base and the top of the stem and catch the light to make a beautiful presentation on a holiday table. The bowl shape follows the philosophy of Riedel's Vinum line of glasses, where each glass is uniquely developed for each type of wine. The glasses in this set of four were specifically shaped to highlight the effervescence of Champagne on the tip of the tongue. We have searched often to find Riedel champagne flutes for our son and his wife. We found them on Amazon! Only two sets were available. We ordered. Next day two more were available. We ordered them. The orders arrived before Christmas (earlier than estimated) and they were thrilled---except one flute was broken.

I gave this as a gift to a dear friend of mine who hosted my baby shower. Let's just say she loved it! Riedel glasses state quality and elegance-they are one of the best glasses for wine and spirits currently made today. Therefore as a wedding gift, birthday, holiday, or just any day this is an ideal item with a touch of class for any person on your list.
