Great bed for traveling August 21, 2008
Used this bed when we traveled with my spouse's entire family to the beach. 7 grandkids and 8 adults, so
extra sleeping space was a must. Comfortable and easy to inflate, deflate and store. Plus the cover for
the mattress is great!!

A Lifesaver! August 19, 2008
My 2.5 year old son is really attached to his crib, so traveling with him has always been a problem. He hated the Pack n Play, hated travel cribs in hotels, so we had resigned ourselves to not traveling until he made the transition to a big boy bed. But a friend told me about the Aerobed for Kids and I read the reviews here and decided to try it. And he LOVED it. I did as one reviewer suggested and told my son how cool and special it was. He loved the moon and star cover and called it "my cool travel bed"--and that was it. He took a 2-hour nap and slept all night without waking up once. I didn't have any problems with noise at all, but the bed was on wall to wall carpet with a deep pile, so that may have helped. This is a GREAT product and a lifesaver. Now we can go on vacations again!

Quick Inflation August 19, 2008
The pump inflates this thing in well under a minute. Great for travel. Nice that it is built up on the sides to keep your kid from rolling out unlike other companies' models.

Great for travel August 18, 2008
If you have little ones and make frequent trips, this is a great option. Product worked great for a recent trip to Grandma's. Our little one loved having his very own bed. He recently started climbing out of his crib, so a pack n play wasn't an option. Takes up quite a bit of space, but it does deflate easily for storage during the day. Be gentle with the rubber stopper on the inside of the mattress that helps air from leaking out...if you push too hard it'll pop off and you have to fish it out of the mattress...not the easiest thing to do.

Great travel bed August 18, 2008
I love this bed. It's very well designed and is perfect for a toddler to small child to sleep on. I initially was concerned about the fact that the pump is not integrated in the bed like the larger models, but it's a good idea not to have a corded appliance around when a toddler is sleeping on it. So, I understand now.

The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is that it is impossible to get a second cover for the bed - even directly from Aerobed. You can get replacement covers for their other beds, but not the toddler bed. Are you kidding me???!! Have these people never gone through potty training???

Other than that, I am very happy with this product and feel I have gotten my money's worth. I would recommend it, but I wish Aerobed would rethink not making extra covers available.
